Isaac Kellis - Project 2 Proposal

Above are some current projects I'm working on. I'd love to have a really nice stylized piece that I could put in my portfolio to show some dynamism in my abilities. Below is the winner of the artstation beyond human character challenge and I love how the artist got so much life into the piece. That is my goal; an idling model on some kind of stand with simple animations that feels very alive and has (for lack of a better word) character.

OverWatchCharacter

I will be working with a designer to create a new character for overwatch. He has provided a character design sheet. with specific details of what he is looking for.

my plan currently is to work on the concept art for this character. Depending on how it works I may also decide to do a 3d Model of the characters, based on the needs of the designer.

Project Proposal - Glyndwr Painting

For my project I'd like to make a painting based on a sketch I created a little while ago. While finishing the painting I'd like to draw from Rembrandt again for his earthy tones and realistic materials, while keeping the expressive shape language of Neon Genesis Evangelion, which partially inspired the sketch. A good example of the sort of look I want is in the lower-right corner of the moodboard. That would be my visual target.
